ICN gallery proudly presents Goldfish Salvation by artist Riusuke Fukahori from 1 Dec 2011 - 11 Jan 2012. Artist Riusuke Fukahori’s London debut exhibition “Goldfish Salvation” transforms ICN gallery into the world of goldfish. When struggling with artistic vision, Fukahori’s pet goldfish became his inspiration and ever since his passion and lifelong theme. His unique style of painting uses acrylic on clear resin which is poured into containers, resulting in a three-dimensional appearance and lifelike vitality. This video gives you a glimpse of his amazing painting process.

Neither PicoMagic from Microvision, nor AR Aurasma seemed as interesting as this simple but clever idea of a cut out billboard for Koleston Naturals.
The company erected a billboard by the sea-side coast of Beirut, Lebanon. The billboard had a die-cut stencil figure of a woman with long flowing hair. The hair will show up in different colors depending on the weather and time of day. The billboard cleverly illustrates the message that Koleston Naturals used natural ingredients in its products.
During the day, the hair on the billboard is golden yellow, while when the sun is setting, the hair color becomes an intense red. The hair gradually becomes a dark violet color as the evening progresses into the night.

Over the last few months we’ve been working on a bar for Protein creating a new café model, which works under the ethos of functionality over form, focusing on presentation, service and design.
Creating a modular multi purpose space that is profitable, affordable to set up and can be run comfortably by a maximum two people. It can also be taken and re-created in a variety of spaces.
Through events and collaborations which will surround it, we will be trying to bring together creative’s from a multitude of areas which might not always be obviously associated with one another.

I haven’t been up-to-date with information recently, but I did realise that there’s still not enough people knowing about Adobe virtual museum. It is a unique virtual space designed to showcase and preserve groundbreaking digital work and to present expert commentary on how digital media influences culture and society.
Okay, that was a cmd+C, cmd V, you can read more about it before opening the page. I’m going to make this short.

I have absolutely no time to tell you how much I love these two reviews from Jon Gold and Alasdair Monk, but I do recommend you read them, if you’re thinking of getting one.
I haven’t updated the blog for days, purely because of a very interesting project I’m working on for Protein® at the moment, but I will try very hard to multi-task from today, if I can manage to have more than 4 hours sleep every night. Duuuuuuh!
